Our restaurant is located at TILLATEC, the iconic building that used to be home to the legendary Amsterdam club called 'De School'.

It is part of a cool collaborative space we are calling The Yard with 2 restaurants, a large outdoor terrace for you to enjoy your food and drinks in the sun and 2 bars.

Concept

The Yard at TILLATEC is home to 2 restaurants open every Friday and Saturday from 18:00. 

Ash's Plek (us) serves authentic Jamaican meals and Omoka serves dishes from around Africa.

After you dine with us at Ash's Plek, you can try Omoka on your next visit!

Menu

Jamaican food is new to many people in the Netherlands so we have created a 'Jamaican Borrel Menu' that allows you to taste authentic Jamaican flavours on your terms as snacks or a 2 or 3 course meal. 

Every month, Chef Ash creates a special 'chef's choice' dish to showcase some of his favourite Jamaican ingredients and flavours. This month, it is Jamaican curry goat!
 

Reservations

You can easily make a reservation online using the button below.  We do accept walk-ins but it gets very busy on the terrace on sunny days and in the restaurant before club nights so please reserve to avoid disappointment!
